DeCharge is building a decentralised network of IOT charging infra for the EV market for the Commercial fleet market riders that require frequent charging during the day.
The global average of Charger: Vehicle ratio is about 1: 20 and the EV growth outpaces the needed infrastructure.
We aim to fulfil the demand by on-chain incentives of global capital deployed & incentives to network Contributors.
Current Traction: Deployed over 150+ locations in just two cities in India with 500+ paying customers. We have reached 650k+ charging minutes and are expected to hit 1 Million charging minutes by the end of November. Charging minutes has been a great way to keep track of adoption since the average charge session ranges between 15-20 minutes.
Overview of the Product: To tackle the problem of inefficient infra in the EV market, they have built an Uber-like app for finding the nearest charging station and we also offered this as an API interface to EV fleet partners to integrate into their ops.
This has massively solved the problem for charge point discovery for fleet operators.
The initial clients are Fleets who are contracted to Unicorn quick commerce companies.
Recent Highlights: The team finished Top2 in the DePIN category in the Colosseum’s first Solana Global Hackathon and got accepted into the Accelerator Cohort 1. Recently they pitched and won #1 at the Founders Villa during the Week1 edition.
